Tamir Saland, Esq.

Tamir Saland joined Stein Saks PLLC in 2021 as an Associate Attorney. He handles consumer protection matters, advocating for people subjected to harassment and abuse by debt collectors.

Prior to joining Stein Saks, Mr. Saland spent several years litigating for insurance defense in New York State Courts, mostly handling personal injury cases resulting from car accidents. While in his last year of law school, Mr. Saland worked for in-house counsel to one of the largest national insurance companies. Subsequently, as an admitted attorney, he worked for an insurance defense firm on Long Island, handling more than 80 cases from inception through discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances and arbitrations.

Mr. Saland obtained his Bachelor of Science from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2010, majoring in Business Economics and Public Policy and minoring in Psychology. He graduated with General Honors Notation from the Hutton Honors College. After his admission as a Dean’s Scholar, Mr. Saland earned his Juris Doctor Degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2019. While in law school, he worked as Research Assistant for Professor DiLorenzo on Real Property law issues. He also interned for the St. John’s Consumer Justice for the Elderly Litigation Clinic. After his first year of law school, Mr. Saland clerked for the Honorable Judge Leon Ruchelsman in the Commercial Part of Supreme Court, Kings County.

Outside of legal practice, Mr. Saland enjoys spending time with family, reading and hiking.
