Raphael Deutsch, Esq.

Raphael joined our firm in 2019 and runs our Connecticut office. Prior to joining our firm, he helped hundreds of individuals throughout Connecticut with bankruptcy and unfair debt collection.

Raphael received his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he was distinguished as a Dean’s Scholar, received a certificate in Tax Studies and was research editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. While in law school, he was awarded the Waterbury Bar Association President’s Scholarship and worked in the Consumer Protection division at the office of the Attorney General of Connecticut. He has argued successfully at the Appellate Court of Connecticut and Supreme Court of Connecticut.

Raphael concentrates his practice on consumer protection litigation, specifically involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Telephone Consumer Protection Act cases.
